Terms & Conditions

Effective September 14, 2026hi@usetrinity.ai

These terms govern your use of the Trinity website and application. They cover your account, what you may and may not do with the Service, how billing and cancellation work, and what you can expect from us.

Overview

Trinity (“Trinity,” “we,” or “us”) provides a project operating system that connects your team's tools and builds a shared project memory from them. These terms apply to the site at usetrinity.ai and to the application at app.usetrinity.ai, together the “Service.”

By signing in or using the Service, you accept these terms. If you're accepting them for a company, you confirm you're authorised to bind it. Enterprise customers sign an order form and agreement covering deployment, security, and support; where those documents differ from this page, they take precedence.

Eligibility and accounts

You sign in with Google or GitHub. To use Trinity you must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and at least 16.

Keep your sign-in secure. Anyone with access to the Google or GitHub account you sign in with can reach everything your Trinity account can. You're responsible for activity under your account and for the teammates you invite, so when someone leaves your team, remove them. Accounts are issued to individuals and may not be shared.

Acceptable use

When using Trinity, you agree not to:

  • Connect a workspace or tool you aren't authorised to connect, or skip an approval your organisation requires.
  • Put content into Trinity that you don't have the right to, or use it to break the law or someone else's rights.
  • Break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service, or scrape it.
  • Resell Trinity, or hand your access to people outside your team.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product.

If activity on an account puts the Service or other customers at risk, we may suspend it while we work out what's going on, and we'll tell you why.

Your content and ownership

Everything Trinity reads from your tools, and the project memory built from it, belongs to you. You grant us only the licence we need to run the Service for you: to store that content, process it, and show it back to your team. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

We don't train models on your content, and we don't show it to other customers. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for the workspaces you connect and the content Trinity reads from them.

When you leave, ask us and we'll send you a copy of your data before it's deleted. The Privacy Policy sets out how long deletion takes.

Third-party services

Trinity connects to Slack, Linear, Jira, Notion, GitHub, Granola, Google Workspace, and other tools through each provider's own authorisation, with the scopes you approve. Those services are governed by their own terms and their own agreements with you. We aren't responsible for a third-party service's availability, accuracy, or changes to its API, and if a provider withdraws access, the corresponding Trinity functionality may change or stop.

AI-generated output

Trinity summarises, routes, drafts, and answers using large language models. Where the underlying event is available, it links the evidence behind a claim, and you should follow that link before acting on it. Not every output can be traced back to a single source, and the absence of a citation doesn't mean something has been verified.

Models get things wrong. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and similar output may be generated for other customers.

Trinity's output is a starting point for your judgement rather than a replacement for it. Don't rely on it alone for decisions with legal, financial, medical, or safety consequences.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Pro is $50 per seat per month, billed monthly. A seat is anyone who signs in to Trinity; teammates whose work only flows in through a connected tool, like GitHub or Linear, aren't seats. New teams start with two weeks of Pro free and only add a card when they decide to keep it.

Changing seats. Add seats mid-cycle and we charge for them pro rata. Remove seats and the change lands at your next renewal.

Cancelling. Cancel whenever you like. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've already paid for and then stops, and we don't bill you again. We don't refund part-months, so cancel before your renewal date if you're done.

Failed payments. If a payment fails we'll retry and let you know. If it stays unpaid, we may suspend the workspace until it's settled.

Tax. Prices exclude sales tax, VAT, and GST, which we add where the law requires it.

Enterprise. Enterprise is quoted, invoiced annually, and governed by its own order form.

Price changes. Prices can change, but never in the middle of a period you've paid for. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a change reaches your renewal.

Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep Trinity up and to warn you before anything disruptive. We do add, change, and retire features as the product develops, and if we remove something you rely on, we'll tell you first. Pro doesn't come with a contractual uptime guarantee. Enterprise plans do, and the numbers live in their agreement.

Suspension and termination

You can close your account whenever you want, from the app or by writing to us. We can suspend or end an account for non-payment or a serious breach of these terms, with notice unless the situation makes notice impossible. When an account ends, your data isn't deleted straight away: write to us within the deletion window set out in the Privacy Policy and we'll send you a copy of it first.

Intellectual property

The Trinity name, the design of the site and the application, and the writing in both belong to us. Don't present them as your own, and don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse something we don't. Nothing in these terms transfers our intellectual property to you, or yours to us.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we can use them to improve Trinity without owing you anything for them.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service and this site are provided as-is and as-available. We don't warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on them is complete or current, and we disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, and our total liability to you on any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the effective date at the top changes with them. For a change that materially affects you, we'll give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Trinity after that means the updated terms apply.

Support and contact

Support is email-first: write to hi@usetrinity.ai. We answer most questions within one business day. If it's easier to talk it through, book a call. Enterprise customers have a dedicated channel and response times set in their agreement.

Security issues go to the same address with “security” in the subject line, and jump the queue. See reporting a vulnerability for what to expect.

Keep work moving

Connect your tools and set the direction. Your AI-native closed loop project OS handles the tasks, milestones and follow-ups from there.
